Newly renovated Hacienda Heights Library reopens with $3.3 Million in Improvements.

June 23, 2017

Los Angeles Supervisor Janice Hahn was on hand for the ribbon cutting ceremony Monday to celebrate the grand opening of the newly renovated Hacienda Heights Library. The $3.3 Million renovation involved a reconfiguration of the interior floor plan layout, as well as Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) upgrades to restrooms and exterior path of travel from the parking lot. Along with a new teen room and reader tables with USB chargers, a community room, three new self-check-out stations, and public seating for 72 people, the library also now has a community meeting room with seating for 65 people.

Citadel applauds the efforts of the County of Los Angeles to bring this added resource to the community of Hacienda Heights, and congratulates the project team, which included Citadel's Jason Kim, Project Manager for the library since the programming phase.
