June 23, 2017Los Angeles Supervisor Janice Hahn was on hand for the ribbon cutting ceremony Monday to celebrate the grand opening of the newly renovated Hacienda Heights Library. The $3.3 Million renovation involved a reconfiguration of the interior floor plan layout, as well as Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) upgrades to restrooms and exterior path of travel from the parking lot. Along with a new teen room and reader tables with USB chargers, a community room, three new self-check-out stations, and public seating for 72 people, the library also now has a community meeting room with seating for 65 people.
