The High Desert Multi Service Ambulatory Care Center (MACC) includes a new two-story ambulatory care facility with a central plant and separate one-story building, totaling 142,000 sq. ft., as well as related site and infrastructure improvements.This $141 million, OSHPD-3 compliant complex consists of a new ambulatory care facility that houses a large ambulatory surgical center, adult and pediatric primary care clinics, urgent care clinic, women's clinic, medical and surgical subspecialty clinics, and ancillary diagnostic and treatment services. A one-story facility houses administrative and support services. Both facilities minimize heat gain and optimize glare-free natural lighting. The project includes photovoltaic panels and wind turbines to generate power and is designed to meet LEED Gold certification from the U.S. Green Building Council.
