Expedited by the COVID-19 pandemic, approved by the Los Angeles County Homeless Initiative, and funded by the Federal CARES Act, this four-acre fast-track housing project quickly responded to part of Downtown Los Angeles’ homeless housing crisis. By utilizing overlapping contracting, design, jurisdictional review, and concurrent on-site and off-site construction processes, the project was completed in a record six month time frame.
